Thinking Beyond Ourselves

As we struggle through this current crisis, it's easy to default into thinking about the inconveniences and annoyances we're dealing with today. But focusing on himself did not get Shackleton over 30 miles of glaciers and snow-covered mountains. As he put it, "It was the thought of the twenty-two men back on Elephant Island that kept us going."
