In 1984, Shackleton’s story of successfully leading a team through a grueling ordeal, inspired Margot to embark on a research journey that spanned five continents in search of first-hand accounts of Shackleton’s leadership strategies.

Reagan’s Journey - Lessons from a Remarkable Career follows on Shackleton’s Way’s theme of overcoming challenges. Starting out at the bottom of the Depression in 1932, Ronald Reagan coached himself to the top of five professions - sportscaster, movie star, union leader, public speaker and statesman. The focus is on Reagan's timeless career strategies that we can learn from. Reagan’s Journey was sparked by Margot’s experience working on the 1980 Reagan Transition Team in Washington, DC.

Margot is an alum of Heidrick & Struggles and Fidelity Investments. She majored in Art History at Newton College of the Sacred Heart (now Boston College) and has a master’s in library science from Simmons University.
