Creating the Photo-Essays

For years I struggled with how to expand on Shackleton's Way. A clever niece designed this website last fall and now we're zooming along.

Some of these photo-essays take a few weeks from start to finish - Julia Ward Howe, Elvis Presley, Edward Hopper. The early ones - Jane Austen and The New York Yankees - took months.

Sometimes I go down rabbit holes - for some reason, the story just doesn't work. But there are lots and lots of inspiring stories to share. Going forward, at least for now, I plan to focus on the American Revolution.
