Over the next few years, America will be celebrating the 250th anniversary of the American Revolution. There were three people who played crucial roles in the conflict, George Washington who led the troops, Connecticut Governor Jonathan Trumbull, the only colonial governor who sided with the patriots and who, through his family's business, provided the troops with food and supplies, and Bostonian Samuel Adams, mastermind of the Revolution.
Over the next few weeks, we'll focus on Sam Adams as the conflict that has been simmering for years explodes at Boston's Old South Meeting House in the fall of 1773.
