"Photographing the ship"

… Hurley was out on the floe photographing the ship but had to return hurriedly as the hummock that we had our stern made fast to by a wire broke off with a piece of the floe attached and we began to swing out away from the floe. This was probably due to having set some sails for the sake of making good picture, though there was only the lightest of zephyrs blowing.
