Welcome

Before publication, Shackleton's Way was #1 on Amazon's yet-to-be-published list. In bookstores, Shackleton's Way jumped to the top of best-seller lists around the world - United Kingdom, Japan, India, South Africa and across the U.S and Canada. As of 2019, Shackleton's Way has sold over 300,000 copies, is available in 10 languages and currently is in its 29th printing.

A veteran of corporate life, Margot Morrell has worked in sales, advertising, management consulting, executive search and financial services at Brooks Brothers, Tiffany & Co., Benton & Bowles, Heidrick & Struggles, and Fidelity Investments. Margot has a degree in art history from Newton College of the Sacred Heart (now Boston College) and a master's in library science from Simmons University.

Shackleton's story of successfully leading a team through a grueling ordeal, inspired Margot to embark on a research journey across five continents in search of primary source material on Shackleton's people-centered leadership style. The result is a book packed with inspiring and practical lessons for business and life.

Reagan's Journey follows on Shackleton's Way's central theme of overcoming challenges. Reagan's Journey explores how Ronald Reagan _ starting out at the bottom of the Depression - coached himself to the top of five professions. The focus is on the strategies Reagan used and how you can apply those lessons to your life and your career. Reagan's Journey was sparked by Margot's experience working on the 1980 Reagan Transition Team.

An authority on leading through challenges, Margot has been profiled in The Wall Street Journal, Fast Company, Daily Telegraph, The Guardian and The Globe and Mail and has appeared on the NBC Nightly News, CNBC's Power Lunch, A&E Biography, BBC and on radio programs around the world.

Margot has shared lessons from Shackleton's and Reagan's stories with NASA, the U.S. Army, the Naval War College and the staff of the United States Capitol, among others. Today Margot Morrell speaks on leadership and career management at business conferences and universities around the world.
